Customer Reviews about McKie Ford Lincoln:
- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Yesterday we took the Lincoln Navigator in for a warranty oil change and maintenance department was right there for service. We would have a wait of hour and half. That was okay. So we decided to walk over to the showroom and look. Customer service in the showroom is terrible! We were invisible. Walked by reception desk and lady never looked up or greeted us, walked over to the $65,000 Lincoln and not one sales person addressed us with either a look or contact, instead two were texting on cell phones or in office and other man walked right by us. HU! Guess our money doesn't count. Maybe because we came in from the maintenance side. We sat down in the coffee area and I looked up reviews and as I was reading one on their service and was venting about the way we were being ignored G Z overheard it and joined us. He at least answered some other questions we had. Must have been the day we had to have the car washed twice.By linda l bakken, August 11, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆In February of this year we purchased a used 08 Town and Country. We understand that with most used vehicles they are sold "as is." We accept that. However, the business practices of this company have disappointed me greatly and I will never purchase another vehicle from them. Within 2 HOURS of driving off the lot the check engine light AND the throttle warning light comes on. OK, so we call Ford and go back and forth with Brad in regards about this and he agrees to purchase the van back from us. We decided to keep the van after he agrees to give us a diagnosis of the lights, and we have since put a decent amount of money into the van. When we purchased the van, there were 2 chips in the windshield. Call me naive, but if I were a car dealership who wanted a good reputation, I would make sure I filled in those chips so that my customers do not have larger cracks that form. NOPE- one of the chips became a large Crack across my windshield. A couple days ago Chrysler contacted us in regards to a recall on our van. We call today and find out that there are FOUR RECALLS on the van, that Mckie Ford did not attempt to fix NOR did they even consider telling us as customers. The individual at Chrysler told us it was Mckie Fords LEGAL responsibility to disclose this information or to have the vehicle fixed. Again, if I were to own a car dealership, I would actually care about the safety of my customers and ensure that they were driving safe vehicles. So tell me, Mckie Ford, why you do NOT CARE about the safety of your customers? I drive my children in this van! I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from this dealership nor will I ever recommend you. I intend to make sure everyone I know knows about your practices as well.By Sarah McSparran, July 12, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I got the vehicle I wanted, but the sales experience, and follow up issues were less than stellar. To start, I got stood up by the original salesman not once, but twice. He even went as far as to call AND email to confirm the appointment, and then when I showed up, he texted and said he was “Too busy” to meet with me. Hey, I get it, people are going to walk onto the lot, but why not pass those customers off to someone else, and keep your already set appointments? During the negotiation part of the sale, I was made to feel like I was crazy because wanted to get a price set on the truck, and THAN look at my trade. This seemed to be HUGE inconvenience for them (I’m sure I’ll get a reply saying I was trying to beat them up, not at all. Just looking out for my best interest, as they should theirs) And to top it all off, I was lied to about features of the truck. I was told it had Satellite radio already installed on it. Maybe my bad, because I didn’t actually check the function of the “Satellite’ button. I figured I would transfer my subscription, and get it all set up later that night. Nope. Tried and tried again to no avail. Stopped into the dealership today to inquire as to why it wasn’t working, and was told I would need have a module installed on the back of the radio. The truck has a keypad for keyless entry. As the sale was wrapping up, I inquired about how to reset the code. Salesman said you would need the original code, and that its usually in/on the truck somewhere. He couldn’t find it, so he suggested that I stop by and have one of their techs locate it and reset it for me. So in the same visit as my inquiry regarding the radio, I asked about resetting the code. Was told nope. You’re going to need to make an appointment, and oh by the way, it’ll cost ya $50.00. I proceeded to walk into the Showroom/salesroom, and voice my displeasure about the 2 issues, and was pretty much told “Well, sorry I lied, but that’s the way it is” An overall terrible sales experience. Didn’t even bat an eye, or TRY to make it right. I know I won’t be buying any more vehicles from this company, and I’ll be sure to tell everyone I know as well. If you’re looking for a new or used vehicle, I’d highly suggest looking elsewhere.By Tyler Johnson, June 10, 2017
